ANK1
VJ Ank1, one of the country's leading Techno VJs and one of the few true LED/light artists in the Netherlands. You might know him from REAKTOR or other relevant techno parties. Want to see him design, weld, and build his next creation? Head to any industrial hotspot in or around Amsterdam and you're bound to run into him.
Not quite your thing? Ruigoord/Solstice loved him too, the urban scene (Encore/Urban Music Festival) bounces with him, and Amsterdam Open Air welcomes him with flowers. He's known for his unusual installations such as transparent clouds of steel, huge wooden skulls, mirror containers and large ceilings of LED tiles. He winds down as a percussionist at the campfire with his band Erik Ankoné & The Gone Wrong Kings.
