Snelle is a fast-rising Dutch rapper from Deventer. He achieved a lot in 2019: in February he got a gold record, and in April a platinum record, for his single Scars. In June he won the FunX Music Award for best song with this track. In September he reached number one in the top 40 for the first time with the track Reünie, a song with a message that resonates with many people. He then also received platinum for this track in October. At the end of the year he did the 24/7 tour; in 2019 Snelle turned 24, and to celebrate he played shows in 7 cities.
In 2020 Snelle kept scoring hits. He soon released his single Smoorverliefd, which also carries a message: he warns young people about the dangers of using their phone while cycling. This track soon reached number one in the Dutch top 40.
