Broederliefde is a hip-hop group from the Rotterdam neighbourhood of Spangen. The group consists of five members: Emms, Jerr, Sjaf, Edson and Mella. The group grew out of a bunch of old football friends who went into the studio together. Broederliefde has been one of the best-known hip-hop bands in the Netherlands since 2014.
They've been nominated for a whole range of different awards (such as FunX, 3voor12 and the MTV Award). After performances at, among others, Lowlands, Broederliefde attracted an ever-wider audience and the group also appeared on TV shows such as RTL Late Night and DINO. Broederliefde has charted in the top 100 and top 40 multiple times. One of their best-known tracks is Jungle.
And the success doesn't stop: in 2019 they won another FunX Music Awards for best group. In February 2020 the group will play one of their biggest shows ever at Ahoy Rotterdam.
