Stages closed because of Corona? Then let's escape to Virtual Reality! Narcissus & Echo is a new, moving VR dance performance that I'm making with choreographer Peter Leung and video artist Noralie (and a whole team besides). Below is a sneak preview, and .. you can help!
We don't want to stay in VR alone, after all. Ten well-known venues are already on board for a mixed-reality performance: it will be one of the first live shows you can see as soon as the lockdown is eased a little. To really make that happen, we've started a crowdfunding campaign: see www.voordekunst.nl/projecten/11764-narcissus-echo-dance-meets-vr-1 . Want to contribute, or share this initiative in your network? Awesome!
